19th C. Lacquered Paper Mache Mirror Frame- Persian/Islamic/Qajar/Turkish

This is a beautiful Persian paper mâché mirror frame from the mid 19th century Qajar era with a Qajar style painting on the front side, depicting a party scene. On the back side, where the cavity used to contain a mirror, there is an old British impiety stamp and a note in English that reads "Persian mirror-book". There is also a hook on the top for hanging.
