A fine flissa (flyssa) sword (sabre) - Algeria, 19th century. Beautiful single edged forged blade with brass decoration inlay. The wooden scabbard is finely carved with a nice patina. The top of the scabbard has a damage (see the 2nd picture). 2 iron collars of the scabbard are missing. Total length 83,5cm (32 3/4). Length without scabbard 74,5cm (29 1/4).
