Antique Islamic Seljuq Ilkhanid Lustre Tile Kashan Natanz. This tile made in early 14th century (almost 700 years ago). I guess origin of that was tomb of Abdul Samad Esfahani in Natanz (close to Kashan) based on similar tiles found. Abdul Samad was a famous Ilkhanid era Sufi.

After he passed away in 1307, Zein aldin Mastary, an Ilkhanid minister and a fan of Abdul Samad, made order to build proper tomb for him. So tiles made there has high quality of art work along with Islamic scripts and design. In great antiques condition: no brake or repair.

Minor scratches and fading colors due to age. Really hard to find such a piece in private collections. Size 32cm x 18 cm or 12.75 x 7.25.
