The hilt is wood covered with brass with traditional dog head or chimera head. The blade is well forged and engraved and inlaid brass decoration The last millimeter of the blade is cut off. The dagger is strong and solid, no movement.
The traditional iron collars used to join the scabbard are missing and were anciently replaced by 2 collars made of fabric. The wood of the scabbard has a damage (see last picture).
