Antique Moroccan nimcha (nimsha) sword (saif) with European blade - 19th century. Single edged European curved blade. Both sides of the blade are engraved with the 2 traditional eyelashes symbols. Wonderful scabbard with 3 silver fittings.

The scabbard is wood covered with brown velvet embroidered with silver thread. 6 silver wires are missing on the grip. The brass guard has very slight movement. The silver ornament on the pommel has movement. Length with scabbard 110cm (43 1/4).

Length without scabbard 105cm (41 1/4'). Blade length 89,5m (35 1/4). Weight with scabbard 1770gr (62,34 oz). Weight without scabbard 1041gr (36,7 oz).
