Antique NICE Ottoman Turkish yataghan sword silver inlay 1801 LOOK n shamshir

Please give it some time, large files might take a while to load! It is a nice one in good condition. It has a small section with silver inlay on the blade that has a year in Hijri that looks like 1216 which is 1801 in Gregorian. The blade shows some lamination.

Nice hilt with massive buffalo bone grips. The sword is 26.75 inches long from which the blade is 21.5 inches.

The handle has a small fitting missing towards the back and the scabbard has a split from the sword being at one point push to hard in (probably easy to fix the split is on the back of the scabbard see pictures). Overall a very nice Turkish yataghan. Scroll down to see all pictures. Please check back this week as I will be listing many interesting items.
