Beautiful Hand Chased Antique Persian Islamic Solid Silver Hallmarked Bowl 449g
For sale is this beautiful antique Persian solid silver bowl. It has a beautifully formed, very elegant shape. It has been beautifully hand chased charming floral motfis and patterns all around the body of the bowl. There are beautiful circular medallions and large dominant flowers and leaves scrolling all over the bowl. It has been tested and is guaranteed to be solid silver of high purity 875 grade. It has been hallmarked with the numbers 84 and also have been hallmarked with the maker's name. The 84 hallmark represents silver purity of 87.5%. It was introduced into Persia by the Soviet Union (Russians) in the early 1900's. The height of the bowl is 8cm.
The diameter of the bowl is 21cm. It weighs a very impressive 449.8 grams.
