For sale is this extremely fine quality antique solid silver Persian tray by master Lahiji. The tray has been hand chased to the finest quality. Lahiji was a master silversmith and his works are among the most highly collected. There is an extremely fine medallion in the centre of the tray - truly the finest I have come across. There is a beautiful scene of a seated Darvish man with highly detailed landscape in the background.

Around the tray there is a repeated scene of very lion lions attacking deer with birds among the fascinating scene. The finest floral decorations adorn the rest of the tray.

An extremely rare tray by an important maker! It is signed to the back with Lahiji's signature along with the 84 hallmarks for the silver purity. The diameter of the tray is 27.8cm = 11 inches. The tray is in excellent condition. Please see the photos shown above.
