For sale we have this magnificent pair of huge solid silver palace size vases. Any collector of Persian silver will recognise this work to be that of Lahiji. The figures and facial expressions and fine floral work all suggest the work was completed by him. The vases are very large, standing at 52cm. In fact, these are the largest pair of solid silver vases I have owned. The combined weight is 5265 grams - over 5.2kg!!!!

Each vase has been hand chased with three main scenes. They have been completed with deep hand chiseling and chasing with the highest attention to detail imaginable. The detail is so immense it is almost like a painting! There is ultra fine floral work with birds among the floral branches. I really cannot stress how beautiful these vases really are.

They have to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. The pair of vases are extremely rare - to find a pair of this size and of this quality is a real delight. These are truly museum quality.

Please look at each photo I have uploaded in the description to see all the detail on the vases. I have provided lots of photos. The vases have been tested and are guaranteed solid silver of high purity, around the normal 84 grade silver. The height of the vases is 52cm = 20.5 inches. The pair of vases have a huge combined weight of 5265 grams.

The vases are good overall condition. One of them is in excellent condition.

However the other vase does have an area of repair which I have shown in the photos. The area of repair is approximately 12cm in size, however it has been done reasonable well.
