INDO PERSIAN KOFTGARI GOLD DAMASCENE BOX 19TH CENTURY. Materials: Steel with silver & gold inlay. Dimensions: 65mm wide x 47mm long x 20mm deep. The hinge is broken on one side so the lid wobbles. Some wear to the damascene in places.

Chips to the red paint on the base. Wear and tarnishing to the inside. Wear commensurate with age and use. Notes: A fantastic Indo Persian Koftgari box, covered in gold damascene inlay, with an Arabic inscription to the top.
