For sale is a really stunning ancient Middle Eastern pottery incense burner or censor dating to around 1100 AD and from the region of modern-day Iran. Measuring 13cm tall by 14cm wide it has very attractive fretted and pierced decoration to the turquoise glazed body and it is in very good condition with no repairs or restoration, just all-over wear and some glaze loss (mostly to one side, see photos) with minor chipping to the foot rim.
