Pair of Antique Kashmir Vases with Enamel and Raised Patterns & Script Marks

A pair of 19th century Kashmir (Indo-Persian) enamel vases with Persian influence. They are of round form with short necks and flared rims.

The bodies have a decorative raised pattern with the space between filled with enamel in light and dark blue. The pattern is also detailed using tiny indents. Around the bases are traces of gilt, which may have been all over the body originally. They are probably produced in a brass alloy or bronze as the metal feels harder than a regular brass.

The bases have script marks to them. Date wise they are probably early or mid 19th century. Period wear, minor knocks to the enamel, but generally good.

Rims somewhat rippled, but hard to determine if original or from later knocks. Perhaps originally gilded, with most of the gold now worn away. Lovely historical look to them.
