Rare and impressive Tuareg sword with European blade - 18th 19th century. European imported single edged straight blade. Both sides, the blade remains partially (hard to see) some traditional markings of crescent moons, stars and suns. Hilt is made of 3 pieces of ox horn. Guard, pommel and blade are strongly attached, no movement.

The grip has a very slight movement. Length 109,5cm (43 in). Blade length 90cm (35 3/8 in).
