Spectacular Estate Sale Find, this museum quality textile, completely handmade and hand embroidered coat or robe, fitted top portion, full skirted bottom. I'm not 100% on the origin, bought at the estate of a prominent doctor and his wife, collectors of Asian Art, Pottery, Textiles. Only similar examples in museum collections. Stunning to look at the detail of the embroidery. A few tiny holes here and there in the fabric, which appears to be light wool (not the embroidery).
