
An Important Ottoman gilt brass tepelik headdress, 19th century. An impressive Ottoman tepelik bridal headdress dating to the 19th century, crafted in gilt brass with openwork floral and foliate motifs. The domed structure is richly decorated in pierced arabesque designs highlighted with traces of original gilding, and bordered by a row. Of granulated and beaded patterns. Around the lower rim hang multiple suspended chains ending in teardrop-shaped pendants, each finely decorated with filigree details.
