This antique 1900's Middle Eastern Persian copper bowl is a rare piece featuring intricate hand-engraved calligraphy (Persian Poems) alongside floral and animal motifs. The artisan's hallmark is engraved on the back. Dating back to the 19th century, this piece of art embodies the intricate calligraphy for which the 1900's era was renowned. This rare antique piece showcases the hand-engraving (Barzakhi/Genie technique), calligraphy and craftsmanship of the 19th century. 20 cm (8 inches) in diameter with 3 cm (1.2 inches) height.
