The intricately lacquer painted with wooden mirror reflects the craftsmanship and artistry of the region during the earlyn19th century. The mirror's unique multi-color design and antique originality make it a valuable addition to any collection of Middle Eastern antiques. On the front the following poems from the renowned poet Saadi are written on the mirror case in gold (a piece of very old paper with this text is also included). Someone was passing from the dust.
He found that the dust smelled like flower. Why do you smell like the flower? In answered, because I have the friendship with the flower. Dimensions: 47.5 X22.5 cm (18.7 X 8.8 inches). Materials: Wood (base), lacquer, gold and natural dyes. Condition: Great antique condition, no damage, no holes. There are some superficial wears and scratches due to its age.The mirror's brightness and precision are somewhat deteriorated due to its age but still functions well. Provenance: This beautiful masterpiece is from my private Middle East collection in Sweden.
