Type: Hand-Chased Persian Copper Tray. Region of Origin: Middle East - Persia (Iran). Material: Copper with Silver Overlay.

Size: 35.5" Length × 25.5" Width (Oval). Condition: Antique condition with minor edge wear and oxidation appropriate for age. This is a rare and impressively large 19th-century Persian Qajar-era copper tray, richly decorated with hand-chased silver overlay work.

The design features a central court procession scene, surrounded by a detailed border of camels, flora, birds, and traditional Persian motifs. A hand-inscribed Persian calligraphic band runs below the main scene, contributing to the tray's authenticity and historical depth.

The tray displays natural oxidation, wear to silvering, and some light edge imperfections consistent with its age. It has a striking visual presence, whether displayed on a wall or used flat on a table. Authentic Qajar-era (late 19th century) handwork.

Large and heavy display size. Rich natural patina and surface texture. Suitable for collectors, decorators, or historical art enthusiasts. Some loss of silver overlay, wear to edge and back, minor nicks, and natural surface patina-all in keeping with antique age.
