Karoly Cserna (1867 - 1944), was a Hungarian Artist well known for his Orientalist Paintings of Egyptian Landscape and Arabs.

Hand painted on stretched canvas this original Oil Painting depicts several Egyptian Arabs and Camels resting near the Nile River. It is signed in the lower right hand corner, and aside from needed a light cleaning this original Painting is in unrestored condition. On the back of the canvas is a label from a Budapest Art Gallery.

This label states that the 15 ¾" by 19 ¾" Painting is from 1916. We guaranteed that this label original and there are blue Government stamps in the corners. Measuring 20" by 25" the gilded frame is original to the Painting..
