FINE ARABIC ISLAMIC SAUDI JAMBIA DAGGER KNIFE SILVER, GOLD WITH SILVER BELT 1930. Finely crafted, old Arabic peninsula, Islamic Jambia dagger - circa 1930.The handle is made of light-colored horn or another material, possibly man-made with a small crack. The leather belt is finely inset with numerous silver plaques and a few silver buttons - inside padded with green felt. The sheath with superb & intricate silver & gold wire-work - also silver and gold foil nicely chased with matching foil on the dagger itself. The blade with a central ridge for strength. Excellent condition for the age except the crack mentioned on the tip of handle. It measures overall 25 cm long x 14 cm wide - the belt is 75 cm long - blade only is 13 cm long.
