Finest Quality Antique Persian Islamic Solid Silver Ice Bucket by Mozafarian

For sale is this beautiful antique Persian solid silver ice bucket. The large bucket weighs an impressive 490.4 grams. The maker of this marvellous bucket was Mozafarian. His works are highly collected. The Mozafarian family were very famous in Persian and many members of the family are very well known Jewellers in London and in the USA too.

The bucket has been beautifully hand chased with lovely scenes, with seated people. These scenes have been surrounded with extremely fine floral patterns. It has been tested and is guaranteed to be solid silver of high purity. It has been hallmarked with the numbers 84 and also have been hallmarked with the maker's name - MOZAFARIAN.

The 84 hallmark represents silver purity of 87.5%. It was introduced into Persia by the Soviet Union (Russians) in the early 1900's. The diameter of the bucket around the top rim is 12.8cm. The height of the bucket is 11.5cm tall (without handle).

Including the handle , it's height is 2cm. The bucket weighs a massive 490.4 grams! The bucket is in excellent condition - no damage.
