Gold leaf used to highlight his crown and bow. Heavy gold plate of 14k (tested). Measures 2" x 1 3/4". Probably made in the 1850s-1890s. As seen in this brooch, Ashur is holding his bow in his left hand over his shoulder and his right hand is uplifted as if he is blessing his worshippers. This is an extremely fine and rare piece.
