This sumptuous and heavily embroidered textile was made to be placed over the door of the Kaba. The piece here is of black with silk appliqués embroidered with Copper plated with silver and gold-gilt wire.

The curtain was made at the Dar al-Kiswa in. This is a model a copy the same as orgenal of a sitarah(curtain) for the door of the Kabah that was made in Mecca and presented to the Kabah by the Custodian of the Two Holy Sanctuaries, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.
