Afghan khyber short sword - Afghanistan, 19th century. Beautiful traditional single edged blade with "T" section back. A maker's mark etched on one side of the blade. Grip is made of iron with 2 plates of wood.

Ancient corrosion on the blade (see the 2 last pictures). A wooden plate of the grip has a small damage (see picture 8). Strong and solid, no movement. Length 70,5cm (27 3/4 in).
