African Art Tellem Statue Dogon 19thC. MALI RAIN ANTIQUE AFRICA

19th Century or possibly much earlier. Attractive Tellem figures, made by well known Dogon tribe who engage in complex rituals and have a complex cosmology. These pieces are highly collectible. This figure came with a trunk of French colonial uniforms and artefacts bought in Marseille in the 1990's. Not provenance, but gives some age.
