THE BODY IS DECORATED WITH REPEATING BOTEH LEAFS, ABOVE AND BELOW BANDS OF ISLAMIC CALLIGRAPHY, THE FACETED NECK ENGRAVED WITH REPEATING VERTICAL BANDS OF BLOSSOMIONG FLOWERS. AGE: CIRCA 1600 (16TH OR 17TH CENTURY MADE). CONDITION: EXTREMELY GOOD CONDITION THROUGHOUT, NO CHIPS , NO CRACKS, NO RESTORATION, THE TINNING HAS ALL BUT WORN OFF LEAVING A RICH BRONZE/COPPER PATINA, THE LID IS MISSING AS WITH MANY MUSEUM EXAMPLES OF THIS AGE, WEAR COMMENSURATE WITH AGE.
