For sale is an Antique 17th Century (1600's) Enamel on Copper Hand Wrought Bathing Bowl from Syria. This bowl was made for holding water to pour during the bathing process, I suppose at the time this was made fresh water was at a premium. The bowl measures 3-1/4 inches high and 4 inches across the base.

There are Arabic symbols and writing in the enamel, but I have no clue what they mean. Condition is good though there is some enamel loss.
