Antique 18th century Indo-Persian Islamic Mughal Shield to sword Talwar Tulwar. Antique 17th-18th century Indo-Persian Islamic Mughal Shield Dhal Separ. Antique 17th-18th century Islamic Indo-Persian Mughal large shield Dhal- Separ of circular convex form, made of black painted buffalo hide. The center is set with four iron domed bosses, with rosette shaped and pierced collars, with traces of gold inlaid. The outer surface affixed by stuffed leather cushion, and four ring-bolts for straps to hold the shield.
