Islamic Hand Chased Footed Copper Bowl Sahan Silver Retained. Here is a very elaborated Islamic Qajar copper bowl.Most likely Near Eastern/Raj India in origin. It stands on 3 semi-ball feet. Very detailed floral and geometrical decorations showing great craftsmanship. Thin hand chased copper sheet.
Some traces of silver are still retained, mostly inside. Dates back to the mid/second half of the 19th century, Qajar Dynasty. Very decorative, great display, it can be used as fruit or flower bowl. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN THE PAGE FOR MORE PHOTOS! 8.5" top opening diameter (across) x 4,5" deep.
Condition: Good overall; Please see photos below. Most of the original silvering is still retained inside. Some shallow dings and deformities on body from extensive use. Great patina developed over time.
