Around the bottom of the 4 ¼ diameter base on this antique Persian Silver Vase is two lines of Persian Writing. I believe part of the bottom line is a Persian Date. Measuring 13 ¾" tall by 4 ½" in diameter hand hammered Repousse base is at least 800/1,000 grade silver.

Around the top is an open boarder of roses and around the body of the vase are four vignettes of birds and flowers, separated by hearts. The base has several birds as well as detailed deer.

In one photograph you will see a finger pointing towards a removable dent. There also is some denting to the round base. The rest of this 19. Century Persian Repousse Silver Vase is original and it weighs 19.25 troy ounces..
