The study fragments are in reasonably good yet stressed condition, with loose threads, fraying, fading and spotting. One side is more faded and some of the colors have less intensity.An excellent study piece of Ottoman Turkish embroidery work, showing various materials, fibers, hand-loomed weaving, stitching techniques, use of vegetable dyes and more.
