Antique Ethnic Silver Tumar Pendant & Chain Turkoman Tekke Tribe

Authentic breast ornament with Tumar. A Tumar is a combination of a triangle and a cylinder-shaped amulet case.

Sometimes stored with a text and sealed. This wonderful tumar has lovely carnelians and spheres.

Instead of cornelians probably two red-orange glass stones were mounted. The ornament on the picture was not polished to preserve patina. Similar sample p 86/87 Ethnic jewellery.
