Antique Islamic Middle Eastern Mughal Dagger Jambiya In Silver Sheath (swgn1008). An exceptional antique, 19th century, silver mounted Mughal, Islamic Middle Eastern, Ottoman period time, Marsh Arabs dagger, Jambiya, Khanjar of Basra area in Southern Iraq, with a long, curved double-edged sturdy steel blade, with a medial ridge in excellent condition.
Some signs of pitting and rust to the blade. One piece horn hilt of elegant form, carved in the central knob, and typical hooked pommel adorned with silver domed rosette base mounted in low-grade silver ferrule set.
