Antique Islamic Tuareg takuba sword (sabre) - North Africa late 19th Early 20th. Both sides of the blade are etched 2 traditional crescent moon. Handle is made of brass and copper.

Scabbard is made strong decorated leather with 1 brass fitting. The 2 leather straps of the scabbard were cut and are missing. The brass bottom fitting of the scabbard is missing.

The leather covering the iron guard is missing. Strong and solid, no movement. Length 91cm (35 3/4 in).
