Antique kabyle Algerian flyssa (flissa) dagger - Algeria 19th early 20th century. The flyssa or flissa is the traditional dagger knife from the famous tribe called Kabyles, living in Algeria.

The blade is yatagan shape; it comes from. The hilt is wood covered with brass with traditional dog head or chimera head. The blade is well forged with brass decoration inlaid. The brass on the head of the handle is damaged (see pictures 6 and 7). Strong and solid, no movmement.
