Antique long Berber (Algerian) flissa sword (yatagan shape) - 19th century. Both sides, the blade is engraved. Also, both sides and on the back of the blade, there is a very nice brass inlaid work. Traditional handle figuring a chimera head. The handle is made of wood covered with brass sheet.

The work of the brass sheet of the handle is absolutely fine. Small damages on the brass sheet covering the grip (see pictures 6, 8 and 9). The grip has a movement.

But handle and blade are strongly attached. Blade length 82cm (32 1/4 in). Weight 825gr (29,1 oz).
