Antique Middle Eastern Syrian Backgammon

It's antique wooden backgammon made of micro inlaid wood. Its condition revealed in photos tthat stand for the main part of condition which accounts for its ptice. It seems to me that due to its old age & to prevent falling off of its inner micro mosaic wood inlay in order to keep them fixed in their place & to remain innerly smooth so it was veneered from the inside only as if gluing them jn place speciall where plaid with dice & discs but not from the outside.
