For sale is this beautiful one of a kind rare persian qajar solid silver hand chased kashkul (begging bowl). I had a pleasure of owning this kashkul for several years and by far it was one of the nicest pieces i have seen. Its been fully handchased all around. The scene of the darvish and a qajar lady smoking shisha on the top of the kashkul is just mind blowing.
The floral design and birds and animals underneath and around the kashkul makes it more special. The lid of the kashkul is very unusual, it can be locked by a pin and there is a red rock on top of the lid.
The persian poems around the kashkul are finely engraved. The chain is its original chain and its very hard to find. This kashkul is in a perfect condition.
Weight of the kashkul is 328 grams. Size: 17 cm long and 8 cm high.
