There is an initial signature in the lower right hand corner of this antique Orientalist Oil Painting but we have not been able to figure out who the artist is. Painted on artist board this early 20th century painting depicts a dying Arab Warrior, leaning against his dead camel with his flintlock at his feet. On the right you can see two beautiful women, one holding a jug of water, and five more ghostly figures coming out of the clouds. In the foreground is a vulture patiently waiting.

This antique painting measures 13" tall by 19 ¾" long and comes in a 17 ¾" by 24 ½" gilded frame. This frame does have gesso damage and some repainted sections. There is some damage to the lower left hand corner of the painting and the surface needs a light cleaning to bring out the poriginal colors.
