Antique Ornate Ottoman Ceremonial Steel Axe(Tabar). The steel battle axe is finely engraved with the military emblem of the Ottoman Empire.

The lower edge of the ax has a crescent moon representing Ottomans. The wooden shaft is wrapped in a material similar to shagreen and decorated with a row of brass / iron pins. Very nice workmanship and patina! A rare collection of antique weapons.

Minor wear and missing some decorative brass pins.
