Antique Ottoman yatagan sword - Ottoman empire 18th-19th century. Even if the steel of the blade is in poor condition, it is still strong and the blade remains very nice engravings. One side is probably engraved a Koran sentence, the other side the name of the black-smith. Handle is wood with coral cabochon inlaid. Strong and solid, no movement.

Length 75cm (29 1/2 in). Blade length 60cm (23 1/2 in). Weight 448gr (15,8 oz).
