Antique Ottoman yatagan (yataghan) sword with silver mount - First half 19th. The handle is mae of silver with gilt and niello decoration (but it is partially erased).

On the silver of the back of the blade is written the names of the seven sleepers of Ephesus. Blade is in very good condition. On one side of the handle, decoration and niello are totally erased.

The whole thing is strong and solid, no movement. Length 63cm (24 3/4 in). Blade length 50cm (19 1/2 in).
