Antique Persian Islamic Damascus Arabic Mamluk Cairoware MID Eastern Brass Bowl

A fine antique Syrian (Damascus) or Egyptian Mameluke Revival bowl from 19th Century. Hand made from thick and heavy brass and hand chased with various arabesque motifs and calligraphy with open work border. In good antique condition commensurate with age and use. Some calcium deposits inside likely from prolonged use as a planter.
