Antique/Vintage Persian Bone and Silver Story Bracelet, Handwritten Letter, Box

Antique/vintage Persian bone and silver hand-painted story bracelet with hand-written letter in box. There are 8 panels and each has a different scene. The paintings are charming, pristine, with rich coloring and a varnish or such which gives the panels a soft shine. Each painting has greenery and red flowers.

You can see vibrant blue clothing, rich brown stags, dark black horse, as well as more muted tones as seen on portraits and such. The panels are framed in thin silver design and hinged. There is a heart-shaped piece that operates the clasp. Underneath of the large part of the clasp there appears to be a sterling silver maker's mark and a small heart. The back of each painting panel shows a grain of some sort of bone.

The box is wood and has a top that slides on and off. There is some print on the top, but it is very faint. Inside the box is the beautiful bracelet and a very delicate thin parchment-like piece of paper with a hand-written wording folded for storage in box. Perhaps it is the story of the bracelet, or a letter, etc. The alphabet is likely Farsi.

Approximate measurements 8" x 1"w. Each painting is 1 x.

This bracelet is in excellent condition. There is silver tarnish, but it is part of the age; like any other silver, it can be polished.
