Original Ancient Egyptian Antiquity Wood figure of a Man. This is a typical pose of figure of the 12th Dynasty. The male figure stands with the left leg advanced, wearing a calf-length kilt with a long overfold descending in front to his right, the arms would have been at the sides, with one hand likely once holding a scepter. This wood figure would have been completely painted originally, and this figure has clear paint remains throughout. This figure is on top of wood base with a metal fitting.
Condition: Condition is commensurate with age and wear. Arms are missing, there is original paint pigment throughout. On wood stand with metal fitting. Measurements: height with stand: 13 inches. Unless described as being new, the items for sale are vintage or used and it may show evidence of wear.
