Fine Quality Antique Persian Solid Silver Cigarette Case. Skillfully hand made it features extremely intricate all over hand chased details incorporating beautiful flowers and fine naturalistic scrolls. Each side is different and resembles fine Persian carpets. It is heavy, very solid and slab sided. The case bears no makers marks but that isnt unusual and its solid silver, presumably of the usual Persian silver standard of 84% which is purer than most continental silver and similar to the old Imperial Russian standard. Large, very tactile and beautifully proportioned at 135mm x 79mm x 10mm.

Its made from a very thick gauge of solid silver and is super heavy at 206g or 7.3oz! An extremely fine Quality piece of Antique Persian solid silver and superb example of Islamic Art.
