The mount and scabbard are made of silver with niello and gilt decoration. Ont the grip an inscription meaning "warrior" and "Ali" (probably the name of the owner). Also, the date 1359 (of the Hijri calendar, 1940 of the Gregorian calendar). Total length 35cm (13 3/4). Length without scabbard 33cm (13). Blade length 20,5cm (8).
