Extremely Fine Large Antique Persian Islamic Solid Silver Hallmarked Box 376g

For sale this stunning antique Persian solid silver box. The box has been hand chased with a beautiful floral design all over. On the lid, in the centre, there is a magnificent medallion, very intricately hand chased. It has been surrounded with deeply chased, very cleanly finished flowers all over. The four sides of the box have been chased with similar floral work. The box is hallamarked with Serayan's hallmark to the base and also with VARTAN's hallmark. They probably worked on the piece together. It is also hallmarked with the "84" hallmark for the purity.

It has been tested and is guaranteed solid silver. The width of the box 18.2cm The length of the box is 9.3cm The height of the box is 3.5cm The box weighs an impressive 379 grams. It is in excellent condition.
