Extremely Fine Rare Antique Persian Islamic Kashmiri Enamel + Gilt Vase C1880's

For sale is this beautiful and very rare antique 19th century Kashmiri enamelled vase. The reason this vase is very rare is because of the band of calligraphy going around the body of the vase. These example of Kashmiri enamelled pieces never have calligraphy on them, so this is a very rare and unique example. The vase has been beautifully enamelled with vibrant colours typical of this sort of Kashmiri work. It has also been gilded with lovely shade of gold.

It has two beautiful handles in the form of the heads of a magnificent creature. The height of the vase is 18.8cm.

The width from handle to handle is 16m. The vase is in excellent condition. All the enamel and gilt decoration is in fantastic condition. Please see all photos abov. Sometimes certain items will not be packed together if one of them is very fragile.
