Fine Large example with 19th century Syrian type silver damascened steel mounts and inlaid bull horn grips of traditional style, all showing light wear but remaining in lovely condition for its age. Mounted with a very fine and powerful 18th century blade of very active Wootz damascus steel showing active watered patterns throughout with few light blemishes on one side, most likely from rubbing on to the side of the scabbard, front side heavily inlaid with gold calligraphy and maker cartouches and mystical symbols, another side with heavily gold inlaid ornamental panels to ricasso.
